Part of the rank and promoting process is done via trials. These are tests of skill and determination in the clan and in the game. Some of these trials take place on custom maps. You will be given the pk3 that is not to be shared with anyone else. Here is a preview of the first trial, for a trainee becoming a full member of the Shadow Order!
