Hey y’all! It’s been forever. This news may not really be relevant to anyone anymore, but I figured it should be announced anyway, so you guys know. As some may remember, I earned the Shadow Order JKA server as a free reward for helping my friend Caelum out with something. We had it for free during SØ’s entire lifespan, which was such a huge help at the time. If you recall, I was jobless at that time, so I never would have been able to afford one. If we didn’t have our own server, the clan would never have been successful. Later on, I kept the server around for anyone to use as they wished; to use as a safe haven and free space to play JKA. I was glad to occasionally see people jump on the server from time to time even to this day. It pains me to do this. Effective December 31st, our server is shutting down, along with Caelum’s JKA.io server hosting business. If anyone has any objections and has a desire to donate towards a new server, please comment below and perhaps we can work something out. There is a new host that is being started by one of the people that helped Caelum with JKA.io, so we can still get a server with all of the benefits and features that our old one had (DDoS protection, updated OpenJK, etc.). Hope you guys are doing great!
That's really unfortunate. I didn't know that you had gotten it for free, that's how AoF used to have like 3 server slots back in the day, our leader worked for the server company. I'll have to jump on sometime before then. I hope the Christmas maps are running currently.
